JAVID LLC / JAVID de Mexico

Sub-Contract Manufacturing and Shelter Services in Mexico were the goals and reasons Javid LLC was incorporated in 1983 in Nogales, Arizona. It is a privately held company and operates a wholly owned Contract Manufacturing and Shelter Service subsidiary, JAVID de Mexico in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico just across the U.S. and Mexican border.

In 1983, Javid was started by three ambitious individuals with many years of experience in both services and manufacturing. Sub-contracting for wiring harnesses and cable assemblies was the focus with Mexican labor in mind.

Six months afterwards JAVID de Mexico was started as a Maquiladora. At the end of 2008 Javid/JAVID de Mexico will be celebrating 25 successful years of operations in Mexico.
The focus and business expanded to include coil & toroid winding, small P.C. B assemblies and electronics for guitars. It then bloomed into molded cable assemblies, digitizers and styluses. Shortly afterwards it exploded into a wide variety of products used in a myriad of applications, such as powers supplies, emergency ballast's, mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies and high & low frequency transformers and magnetics.

After a few short years and lots of hard work, Javid/JAVID de Mexico became one of the leading sub-contractors in the area. The success and methods of our management finally caught the attention of other companies seeking to establish their own operations in Mexico but wanting to get started under our "umbrella." Thus, started Javid/ JAVID de Mexico, towards the path of providing services and resources to others. Javid/JAVID de Mexico started its Shelter Program and Servicing new companies 12 years ago.

Twenty-five years after its foundation, Javid LLC and JAVID de Mexico have become very successful and respected in the community and with local and state and government agencies. Currently Javid/JAVID de Mexico employs over 1,200 people with 21 different companies operating in different locations throughout Nogales, Mexico plus a warehouse and a Sales office in the US.
